you know.. a good place to pick up leather jackets for around $200 - $300 is Zara. I picked one up for J'ob recently when I was in Puerto Rico. They're so cheap that you can go and take it to a tailor and get it altered to fit better.

discount design stores are also a premium hideout for solid leather, ie. i picked up a $1400 Theory leather motorcycle jacket at Loehmann's a few weeks ago for $148.. i was shocked, the original Loehmann's price in the store was 600, but it had been there for ages so i asked them to check the price, and with a sale that was going on it came out to be 148 bucks.

other good discount stores:
Filenes Basement
Marshalls
Daffy's
TJ Maxx
Nordstrom Rack

Look, all I'm saying is, if these big stars didn't want people going through their garbage and saying they're gay, then they shouldn't have tried to express themselves creatively.

Heya! Are Y'all playing in New Orleans May 17th with The Crystal Method? Ticketmaster says that y'all are, but I didn't see anything on y'alls myspace.

I noticed that the 17th is a day after being in Hamburg. That'd be a crazy flight back to play the next night!

sorry i've not checked the board in about a month (hectic tour schedule and i suck at this stuff). so i'll address the last couple questions here.

blood on the dancefloor: so the gig in london, ontario. i'm personally not a fan of the crowd being all up on the stage behind the DJ when they're playing but at Up there really isnt an option as that's sort of the VIP area.. it's supposed to be just close friends etc. but that night it got out of hand. towards the end of my set whenever i'd turn to select a track on my laptop (i dont keep my laptop directly in front of me.. usually off to the side so it's not a big obstacle) i would catch a hand coming from behind kind of over my shoulder and and the person would fuck with the mixer. this happened three times.. the third time i caught the guy that did it and i just turned to him and said "if you do that again i will punch you in the fucking face".. my friend came up and asked me what the problem was and i told him to throw the guy out and went back to mixing.. they started to argue.. the guy swung at my friend so my friend punched him one time only and split his face open (nine stitches and a concussion). ouch. i dont think what happened was excessive. the guy swung first and was obviously in the wrong. sucks it had to come to that but he clearly was a douchebag and a pretend tough guy (they're usually a package deal).

as far as coming to calgary. i dont think we've been there much.. twice in a year. it just so happens that the last time i was there was in february and now that we're on the crystal method tour we will be coming through again in may. the only other time we've been was in january of 2008.

haven't heard much noise from you guys in a while, are you taking time off from remixing to work on your album? any idea of a release date for your album? special guests?

also, any word on your bounce remix?

Basically, anybody around the DJ is prone to be an asshole, why do people want to stand there anyway? That guy deserved what he had coming to him; maybe not the whole 9 stitches. I would be annoyed if people were talking to me, let alone actually fiddling with the mixer!!!!!
