Ah Laz, please come to San Diego! I'm not even 21 yet, but I'll find a way to buy your ass a drink.

By the way, any tips on eqing the high end of things? Specifically on your lead and on your master bus. I can't find that comfortable medium between rolling off the burning singe of 10k+ and keeping the sparkle of it at the same time. It just sounds muddy when I take too much off, and makes my tweeters go off the charts when I don't. I can't win!

try sweeping the eq and find the spot thats bothering you. just sweep back and forth with the gain up on that specific band and once you find it just do some subtractive eq. this is also a good reference guide.

Really?! Did you really doodle that for Lazaro?!
I seriously laughed so hard about this... We gotta have a
graphic contest for a petFood tshirt design.

You know, Taylor almost won a Tshirt design contest here in
Texas but got owned in the butt by kids who had 5,000 proxies
and voted more than once w/ a different IP.

My De-esser advice was assuming you had already tried this. At which point you would compress at whatever frequency you found in step 1.

Any new gear you got on your Christmas list? I've been really wanting my own CDJMK3's
but seeing as the set is $5,000 I was thinking of just settling with an MPC1000. 1G, I can spare.
