OMG! It's snowing on Shot Callin'!
Are you gonna make a snowman?
Last year me and my friend made a gigantic snow penis and went sliding on cardboard covered in garbage bags. Our goal was "A Very Hobo Christmas." We probably should have had Colt 45s...

Speaking of which, I drew you a Christmas themed doodle, but I have to dig out my scanner.

I'm probably the best big brother ever. my dad use to have a small excavating company that he would do part time, you know bulldozers and all that. It just dumped a foot of snow here, so I took our old backhoe and built my little sister one bad ass snow fort to safely pelt snowballs at my brother.

What do you use to get a good kick sound? Can you recommend any good sample packs? Or do you use a VST

Thanks.

always start with a good sample it'll make your life easier.

i've gone through a few sample packs and usually end up liking about 2 or 3 out of each so i save those elsewhere.

if you find a clean kick on a song you like you can lift that too and just process it to remove any unwanted noise.

im usually pretty happy with the kick samples i end up using so all i do is do some subtractive eq'ing depending on how deep or punchy i want my kick.

We haven't developed it yet. Top priority on our list is the hard drive midi controller. Once we get the prototype made for that, we'll start working on the Casanova edition.

Jake got a crazy virus (midget porn) and got locked out of his computer, then his hard drive failed so we're waiting to get a new HD installed and to recover all of the plans and shit that were on there.

Hey Laz,
I was at Ernest Hemigway's favourite cuban reasturant today drinking a mojito listening to Klover when I remembered you're of Cuban descent. Did you ever live there or have you gone back to visit? My mom lived there during Castro's take over but her memories of it sound absolutely amazing. Is your heritage a big part of your personality or life? Do you have any strong feelings about the situation there? Hopefully with Obama things can improve for families visiting etc.

Anyway, I think I'm going to plan a trip to the island next spring. After what the cubans I met today were telling me I don't think I could avoid it.

I thought Americans weren't supposed to go to Cuba? Or is it just you can't bring back Cuban cigars or something?

You can go back every three years if you have family there. And otherwise you just go through Mexico or any other forgein country. The cubans won't stamp your passport and as long as the US doesn't find out somehow all is well.
