i've tried counltess but usually end up using the same 3 or so just cause theres so much customizing they add to the software versions of these synths.

you dont use any NI gear?, ive got mad love for massive

anyway, i think you may have an issue with proaudiotorrents if your ip changed

also, what do you mean by renew your pro tools license? i legally own pro tools 7.4 but i bought it a year and a half ago so do i have to go renew that shit again, ive been doing a lot of shit in logic lately

yea i gota figure out the pro audio shit when i get around to it. the pro tools is just that they hook me up with plugins and they get renewed every 6 months. so jan 1st they all expired and a bunch of peole were fired from digi design so there were 100's of artists locked out of their plugins.

are you dudes buying all your soft synths or are you getting them off torrent sites? i've never used a torrent site but would love to have some nice soft synths.

do the programs from torrent sites fuck up a lot? i bought logic and am learning it little by little (by the way, maybe there should be a logic help thread like the pro tools one, i know taylor talks about logic some) but am having some trouble getting the synth sounds i want.

maybe i need to be using different synth? not sure? would love to know more about some talked about synths like the dominator. i feel like i can write some good bass lines with an actual bass on logic, but can never get it to sound right on a bass synth.

i want to be able to make some harder tracks and i feel like a regular bass never pushes a track hard enough, so i have to use a synth i can just never get the sound i want. any help is appreciated.

(i will post this in the general making electronic music thread as well for as much feedback as possible)

literally just screw around and make shit, acquire more and more vsts, work with things you make that jsut happen to sound cool. it will take a year untill you can think of a sound and even get close to making something similar to what you want.

d-pad hero. too good. could be more addicting than guitar hero. haha. and chip-tune aerodynamic is the title screen music, what more could you ask for?

Hey Laz I was thinking about the sound your making for yourself and I was wondering what you've got planned for the future as far as your style. Venganza, and Klover have those ballin portamento more electro sounding distorted synths, where Los Tambores and your Dum remix have a deeper house feeling with just a sub bass for most of the time. Are you drifting away from the Venganza and Klover synth sounds towards the deeper rhythmic grooves or were you experimenting with something different on Los Tambores? Or are you combining the two sounds? Cause that would be awesome.
Either way, keep up the solid work homie

i've listened to "mousa big band" quite a number of times, i just don't sense any appeal to this song.

discuss.

haha nice. the appeal to me was the vocals and that "brrrrrrrr" sample in it that sounds like some star wars creature. i really like it when a track has something in it that i havent heard before.

as for the track it has its time and place and can easily bomb dance floors...but ive seen it work sometimes.

you should check out some of lucianos other stuff, he has a nice buzz behind him right now. maybe you will like the other stuff and if you still don't well i'm glad you gave it a fair listening.

i finally deleted when i got sick of the emails
