^Dude I dropped your Dum Remix at the Last Class Bash at our university and people went nuts! This is a school in a city of 69 000 people! I get requests for Rihanna and Britney Spears constantly... Just goes to show, your tracks can convert even the lamest no taste party sluts and bros to the Dark (House) Side.

I did the same with Los Tambores once. People who basically only knew major artists were asking me what the track was they liked it so much.

I saw on twitter you liked the Joel Mull Promo, have you heard his remixes on Skylark's Krakatoa EP? I thought they were absolutely awesome!

rosa should be out early may and the next juan maclean remix should be out may too.

waiting on a remix from oscar g for papayua (comandante) before we can release that. so it might be pushed back to june.

im finishing up two originals for nic fanciulli's saved label in these 2 weeks then working on a remix for him that i will be trying to get on global underground.

Happy Birthday Laz!

Also, when it comes to comic books turned movies are you a purist about representing the comic books in the movie? Most of my friends are in an uproar about Wolverine, I'm just hoping it's a good movie.

I saw wolverine, I thought it sucked. But then again it was the half-finished CGI and special effects version online.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAZ

I didn't even notice it was up on their myspace player. Thats very exciting though.

also stoked for the next juan maclean remix to be released.

and don't worry about the heat, wish we couldve taken out hawks in first round cause i think they're dickheads but either way cavs might sweep the whole east.

best advice i can tell you is to stay true to your sound, no matter the current music trend. confidence in your own music speaks loudly.

don't get me wrong it's perfectly fine to show influences of others in your music, but it'll always be better if you have your own signature twist in it.

best,
-L

agreed on the cavs sweeping the east. who you looking at from the west?

i saw you have mackies in your studio setup pic, are you happy with those or would you suggest something different? i really need to buy some monitors but am curious of others opinions...

anyone other than Laz is welcome to chime in as well.

Yeah I'm looking at KRK, either Rokits or the other line that isn't their primo monitors (I forget the name)
I've heard really good shit about Adam Monitors but they're a bit more expensive than some of the budget options.
