i don't really care for much of the first 3. i mean its great that episode 3 is dark and all but anakin is such a whiny bitch in it.

So true. I got all pathetic when he hit Padme and was crawling out of the lava.

I think that The Empire Strikes back is my favourite, but it's hard to choose.

i actually like episode 1 a lot more than 2 and 3. the only thing bad about episode 1 is that they killed darth maul in one movie. that guy was the most badass star wars character ever. and yeah when anakin grows up it seems like hes got some estrogen in him.

yea darth maul did have a bad ass light saber.

imagine if general grievance and darth maul were around at the same time...would've been a squad.

If you look at the timeline though, it doesn't really make sense.
Darth Maul is rockin the double ender, which then progresses to the quad lightsaber, and then Vader comes along and goes "ummm....... nah fuck that, I'll just use one... But I'll build a sweet 'Space Pokeball..... of Death!'"
He didn't even have the crazy electric shit, he just made people's shirt collars uncomfortably tight. He totally relied on the scariness of his respirator thing.
An overall degradation of the Sith's head villains...

I MUST disagree. I thought Darth Maul was just kind of a brute. I didn't really find him threatening, just kind of an annoying joke. He's like that drunk redneck at the bar, he's scary but not as scary as the mob guy in sunglasses sitting in the back booth.

I really like Darth Vader though so... yeah I'm probably way biased.

nah, my dude, I think that would be too much. plus, I don't think darth maul would have that. I definitely think (regardless of his four light-sabers and hands that spun in crazy directions) darth maul would fuck grievance up, bad.

actually, I may take that back. although it would be a crazy ruthless fight, I think I might have to take that back. consider that obi wan did slice darth maul in half. althought obi wan got lucky with both fights against darth maul and grievance, using the force to his advantage and -- you know, fuck it... darth maul would win.

I agree with you Katherine on the scariness... It just seems like Vader could have gone totally bad ass with his weapons. Technology wise, it's like a step back.

And Maul would win against Grievous.

They did, back in the day. I remember playing it when I was about 10, and I absolutely hated it. Now, I want to check it out.

I'm a little late on this but I saw this a while ago and this thread reminded me of it. Sorry for going off the Start Wars topic.
