Short version
Hi I'm Bjorn Harlson
14 yrs old
from Seattle
I got into Electronic music around 2.5 years ago

Long version

Hello, My name is Bjorn Harlson, I am not from Scandinavia, I am from Seattle, WA.

I am 14 years old, and I am into all sorts of art.

I love to draw, and always have. Though recently I've been focusing more on music.

My name on here comes from my dad. One time when my parents and I were coming back from Mt. Rainier Natl Pk., we were talking about/listening to Bob Dylan, I asked my parents what a good pseudonym for me would be for me, my dad said Biff Cutwright, jokingly.

I've found that there is usually at least some music from any given genre, that I like, including country and classical. Around 2.5 years ago, I got into electronic music after hearing Justice. My friend Jon introduced me (and continues to) more Electronic artists. Now I make music with Ableton Live LE, I've posted some of my music on my myspace if you're interested.

Typically when I get into something, I'll research it constantly, and may try to make my own version of it.
(I have pages and pages of drawings of made up birds from when I was a little kid and was into birds)

Since I was 5 years old, when my parents and I drove to Maine and then drove back two years later, I've been into maps and Geography. Through a series of spaced out road trips on school breaks, I'm trying to visit every county seat in my home state of Washington. (Today I was up by Sumas, WA, just across from Abbotsford, BC, no county seats visited though). But yeah, I'm into geography and street layouts, and places, and their histories.

I love to go on and on about stuff that interests me too^

I like counties because particularly in the west they have cool individual shapes, and have different landscapes and people and industries and things when you go there. Also, county seats are like capital cities (which I tried to visit as many as I could en route coming back from Maine), with county courthouses.

Some county courthouses have really boring architecture either from the county being rather poor or for having their courthouse built during a boring time in architecture. For example The Skamania county (Where mt. St. Helens is) courthouse http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=80613945&albumID=1830861&imageID=23790843

as opposed to some courthouses which are spectacular and have all kinds of columns and murals and embellishment. For Example the Pacific County Courthouse, in the Southwesternmost corner of Washington. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=80613945&albumID=1229870&imageID=11970760

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=80613945&albumID=1229870&imageID=11970754

Most Courthouses are somewhere in between
For example Grays Harbor County, where Kurt Cobain is from

I'm Joe, from Ireland

Big into my house/electro/breaks/fidget etc

Big fan of The Smiths and Morrissey

I'm a huge 80's music fan (even before it became fashionable again)
And i'm a big film fan, if there's any room for that here.

Currently trying my hand at producing tracks and hopefully i'll have something to show for it soon.

thanks.

Hey!

I'm James, from Toronto.

I love "dance" music and hardcore punk/metal equally. haha.

I've been messing around with djing/production on and off for a long time, but I'm quite lazy. I enjoy it when I do though.

Obviously, I'm a MSTRKRFT fan, great shit and proud that they're from Toronto.

Cheers!

I'm Dan, I'm 21 living in Boulder, CO and attending the university of colorado. I grew up outside of chicago and just recently registered my version of ableton live. I come up with beats and remixes in my head on a daily basis and just need to get the technical producing aspect of it down. Hopefully this board will be a good reference for making electronic music and meeting cool peeps with good taste.
