So in a ton of mstrkrft songs (maybe most) the synth will get really stacatto..ie and is in synch with the beat. Is this done by hand editing, the use of an effect such as delay, synching the synth with a drum machine or something else?

^It'd be a lot easier to use 3Osc
But yes, sytrus can do it too, it's just more complicated.

3osc is a legit synth that shit got me on hypem.

I got a couple of questions.

I'm having trouble trying to make my kicks and snares make the speakers pound.

I know i should use compression, but how much?

And can you guy's recommend me some sample packs or cd's with good drum kits

deadmau5's xfer sample cd is legit as fuck.. or any kind of vegeance sample pack... .and i have gotten the pounding type compression with some of the voxengo plug ins.. like the crunchessor, and elephant, and lf max punch. And you will just have to play around with how much compression you need.. no one can tell you and you get it right the first time.. takes practice
