anyone have any idea how to get "laser like" sounds like those found on laz's "oh yes wow" track. are they samples? where can i get them? is it a synth sound? any help is much appreciated.

another sound i've been looking for is the "bubbly" like sounds like in diplo's get up remix. anyone have a clue? thanks.

alotta the laser sound is in the envelope so a fast attack but, but their needs to be some build (charging duh lazer), no decay, very short sustain(firing duh lazer), and a release thats about as long as the attack.

so i was just fucking around yesterday and actually figured out how to make the sound i wanted to b4 that i couldnt figure out with aftertouch. and it actually makes a diff sound wen u let off the key. in albino u just have to turn the envelope all the way to 1 on filter1 and hit the button above it to make it follow the envelope down or watever then u just go to the filter envelope and make it full sustain and nothing else. for the sound u want wen ur pressing send it to filter 2 and have no release and full sustain or however u want on it but u want no release unless u want that sound to carry over to wen u let off. and for the sound u want wen u let off have it sending to filter 1 and on the osc envelopes u want them to have some release or it wont work.

if any wants to try this and my instructions arent clear enough let me kno

I was wondering if anyone has any experience mastering their tracks in Ableton (If that is even possible) I just finished a remix and I'm trying to get the parts where it clips all straightened out without fucking up the track, I tried using some of Ableton's preset mastering racks but since I don't know what I'm doing with them I was kind of hesitant to tweak anything on it them much.

Here's the track

i usually just pop a limiter on the master, and eq each track individually. its probably a long route to do things but i think you learn a lot doing it.

just try and keep instruments having their own domain of the frequency spectrum, or panning accordingly.

and here are some of my tracks if you wanna hear how thats been going for me

well if you do not have money for new hardware then test to see if it's a software problem. backup your computer and reformat it. then post here again if you continue to have the problem.
