The PAT Ratio Guide:
Step 1) Go to "Browse" -> click the size column twice (this will show the lowest size files from the top)

2) Download as many small files as you desire (i suggest at least 100, you will still be in the 150kb range)

3) Seed all of them (doesnt even matter if you cap your speed to the lowest possible, as long as they are "active")

You get 0.5 karma points per torrent per hour for active seeding torrents. With 100 tiny files thats 50karma points an hour and it only took off a tiny amount of your ratio. Save up to 1150 (with 100 youll be doin that in 23hrs of seeding) you can exchange it for 5GB seeded.

Also another tip to this process is on the browse page just click on the down arrows next to the name and SAVE the torrent link in a separate folder. This way with tons of torrent links you can just highlight a ton and say "Open" all at once. I also suggest making a separate folder for all these crap torrent files (I personally called mine PAT Crap Torrents)

Ive been on PAT for just over month and half and im up to 216GB seeded...

wow, thanks so much for this ira, you baller you...i quickly downloaded the 250 smallest torrents and im already almost at 50 karma points, excellent XD
i also noticed saying thanks on torrents you download gets you 0.1 karma points, obviously not much but it only takes a second so if you make a habit of it that can help too.

Things you conveniently ignored:

1. Have YOU ever done a/b tests at a club?

2. Post a song that has what you're talking about in it.

1. Yuh obviously or I wouldn't have brought it up
2. Figured I'd get two birds stoned at once and whip up a loop to show you what I mean.

Subs and drums basically, one sub just below 20 hz, and another an octave up.
Noob alert: don't go listen to it on your macbook speakers or your iPod buds. You most likely will not be able to hear the lowest sub unless you're rinsing it on a decent system with a sub and your shit cranked proper.

This is a waste of my time. Anyone dumb enough to listen to you deserves to write shitty sounding songs. You don't produce and you don't DJ and you don't know what you're talking about.

Todd I don't know why you find the need to shit all over anyone who brings up a point contrary to what you believe. I'm tired of you being a confrontational know it all.
To be honest, I think your music is boring generic electro that does nothing interesting musically or in terms of production. In addition, you have no idea if I produce, DJ, or know what I'm talking about (check, check, check)
Get your head out of your own ass and stop acting like some bigshot producer just because you filled a cd with sidechained saw waves.

thanks man. I'm getting better I think. I just looked at my sign on date for the forums and it was a year and 2 months ago is when i started trying to produce. I'm pretty stoked on the progress I've made so far... Now I can actually start focusing on music since I've got the technology part of it down... I need a piano teacher

I'm sick at home so I'm gonna be posting a lot of random cool links I've found. I have way too many cause I stumble so much...
