What do you guys think about BFD2 vs ToonTrack Superior D? I'm looking into a way to add some realism to my drum patterns. I'm working on a bigger project so I want it to turn out amazing.

I especially want it for cymbals and hi hats. From the descriptions and reviews it seems BFD is better for this. But if anyone has used it let me know.

Superior drummer is sex.com
Got the Avatar Studios one and the Custom and Vintage set, both sound awesome. Can't speak for BFD, though I know it's quality as well

So, i don't remember if this is the right forum to ask this , but I'll ask anyways. K so in Ableton, when i render a song, the ending result sounds completely different to what it originally was. For example: certain instruments are in different pitches, and for some reason my sidechain and kick don't exist. Yet, when i play the track in the actual program, it sounds perfectly fine. WTF! Anyways im just rattled cuz I can't figure it out, maybe somebody here can help? It would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Did anyone keep the Ableton Live Suite 8.1.1 Installer? Not a hacked version but the full version from the Ableton Website?

Even if you downloaded a "cracked" version it would come with the original 8.1.1 but just dont use the crack it comes with.

Or find the directory for 8.1.1

Install 8.1.3 and have random crashing? Me too

I'd like to revert back but sets made in 8.1.3 aren't backward compatible. So lame.

Sucks for you guys. Ive never updated past 8.0.8 since all I have heard is crashing in any newer release. I may suggest getting a "torrent" and just using your login for it. You dont have to do use the crack

What are your thoughts on USB 3.0 audio interfaces? I bout a firebox back in February, however it pisses me off because the connection on my computer is VERY touchy (4 pin connection). Knocking it causes it to disconnect and I will have to replug it in. I was thinkin about selling it and then just getting a USB 3.0 interface when they come. Thoughts?

I try not to update any of my stuff unless it is super buggy. The old "if it's not broken why fix it" policy. Esp when it comes to updating the DAW sometimes the plug-in companies are a little behind and you can be spending time without your favorite synth or compressor.
