what does everyone think of circuit bending ,Can it be part of the electronic battle chest or is it a novelty . from what I've heard on youtube which is alot , it has much potential , but is utilized so badly you can't call it music , but case in point , boys noize has some killer speak n' spell sounding noizes on there trax , Is software for those voices available ?

check out the album Unicorns Are People Too. not "dance" music, but still really good. good use of circuit bending.

I don't know if you guys are going for an Apex Twin kind of sound but if you are
here's a plugin that would kinda give you that madness.

http://illformed.org/blog/glitch/

Here's a song I baked in 5 minutes with that plugin. It's just a samples processed and a loop with that plugin kicking in at 0:30... Ha, I may actually make something of it.

Go make some music with it now.

Indeed. Hey, Taylor, might as well ask... Do those gold plated Firewire Monster cables really make a difference? I have some for my guitars but not for my
MIDI controller, external hard drive, MBOX etc. I kind of seem to notice some lag in my MIDI performance and I thought it was just my DAW already
draining my RAM but I allocated 4GB's. That should be plenty. I've even adjusted the latency and there's that small, fraction of a second, lag
that really fucks me up. Are those cables worth solving the issue?
