best way to learn is just experiment. try to mimick your favorite sounds. then you make your own.

but its takes TIME. theres nothing quick about this.

Experimentation and Google. You'll either learn exactly how to make the sound you want, or fuck up and make a different cool sound. Either way, it's way better than using a preset.

Years of experimenting.

There is no way you and your friend are going to become electro divas within the next year.

Time my friend.
Time.

And also listen to any and everything-that's most important.

just downloaded traktor scratch pro, but when i get about 15 mins into playing around the with the program this warning pops up and says "pirated copy!" and some mumbojumbo about how its a pirated copy and that's bad.

so i come to you, the wise posters of the "making electronic thread" looking for the answer on HOW DO I GET AROUND THIS?? (besides the obvious of buying the actual program...)??

Don't know about Traktor, but the same thing happens with Live and there's no way around it. You gotta buy the program. So I did!

if youre on a mac download littlesnitch its basically a reverse firewall and you can create rules that dont allow certain programs to access the net

and wow that 3d multitouch thing is wicked, its like those things you buy that have all the pins in them and you stick your hand on it and on the other side theres a relief of your hand

he is mixing into an edit of one more time, probably his own, he just loops the original track and mixes to the next.

I'm sorry for changing the subject a tad.

But does anyone have any hands on experience with either Spectrasonics Trilogy or Zero-G Sounds of the 70's.

I'm looking to add some old school vibe into my productions and I just want to make a more informed descision before I buy either one.

at 3:06 theres a synth that seems like a sine wave, but it goes from low pitch to high and like dissolves into this weird feedback. does anyone know how to recreate something like that?
