You know my friend dario only from fifa 06? You need to update on your vitalic my man....

That's where I first heard it and i wasn't really into electro back then so yea that's the first time I heard Vitalic. I've heard his other songs since but I was talking about what song Felix played which was Dario and my friends knew that song from Fifa as well, hence my comment...

thank you, i'm totally getting one now. also, without being too cheesy, thanks for inspiring me, the fact that your live set up/studio set up is so modest has really made me feel like i dont need to spend 10k on equipment just to make good music.

i have its predecessor the keystation 49e

http://www.pinnacleal.com/site_espanol/productos/audio/keystation/keystation_49e.jpg

i use it to control all my soft synths for the last 5 yrs, gone through 1 of them on the second one now. good stuff in my opinion.

felix - i notice your mixes really cut through in my DJ sets. the perceived volume is very loud, and every element just sounds enormous. Do you have any tips for treating a mix before you bounce it? For example, do you use extreme limiting on the master bus, Waves L3 or something?

I'm still learning how to mix properly and to make my own tracks cut through more in my mixes, and I think you've got it nailed.

I just heard that you and LA Riots might be hitting El Paso up July 3. It was on a local promoter's schedule, the dudes who've been booking you when you come around, SMG Events.

So is their schedule correct? :D

I'm curious, did you get into dj'ing and then produce or did you start producing and then dj?
