Is it possible to purchase the Remix of Hostage - Gluttony somewhere? Or is there a date planned when it will be released?

Thanks in advance!

what do you mean savage-swing remix?

I was at the homme in phoenix last friday and i could have sworn that i heard you put on a remix of the song swing by savage and it sounded insane.
I was wondering who did that remix.

when you're mixing your drums in reason do you put drum part on a separate track (snare, cymbals, claps, etc) to run effects through them or do you just keep them all on one?

I usually run each separate drum sound on its own Redrum. It's easier to compress the bassdrum/basslines this way, as well as do individual effects for the snares/claps/hihats etc.

I use a combination of samples i've collected over time with some of redrums default sounds (i mean reason doesn't have a 808 and it's pretty essential).

Hey Felix,

Partly upon your influence i've been UC-33-ing it up for a little over a month now. Programming it and re-programming it over and over trying to get comfortable and figure out exactly what it is I want to control. This is a pretty amateur question and i sure dont want to straight up jack your style but im curious how you program your controller. So far i've mostly been doing EQ and freq control on 4 decks, i tend to pack my sets and try make them as insane as possible. I had never seen a UC-33 in person before i bought it and still have yet to see some one use it in person, I need some of that big brother mentor shit ya know? It'd be awesome if you did at least one post about your live setup and control on your website along with all the production tips.

thanks,
TYLER

Hey FC!

Thanks for the reply.
I went to the site, but the link (sendspace) isn't active anymore. Is it possible to post the remix or a link where we can download it here (or on your site)?

It would be SUPER if you could do that!

Thank you!

a question kinda going back awhile but i was just thinking about this. i noticed when i saw you in royal oak with mstrkrft that you really didn't play out many if any of your remixes and i don't think i heard one track with vocals. were you in a phase or is that just what you tend to do when you're playing sets?

i mean, i dont make a conscious decision to play "little to no tracks with vocals", whatever songs excite me at the time is what I will play. As for playing my remixes, not too many of my newer ones are that vocal based anyway, so the older ones probably didn't get played. Also, i much prefer to play my originals - which I think is true for a lot of DJ's.

makes sense. i was just surprised you didn't drop venganza or skeleton, especially skeleton, considering that's the basis of your EP, unless i somehow missed it. it just threw me and my girlfriend for a loop because i definitely wasn't AS familar with your music at the time as i was with congorock and mstrkrft but we couldn't really discern one track from another.
