well, it seems the hats won't be online, unless they will be later. but I kinda lost hope. maybe my biggest disappointment this month.

on another note, I'm trying to get more dj bookings and I'm thinking about putting together a promo kit. So i'm gonna get some business cards, a proper bio and a demo CD.

Do you have any suggestions or ideas forthis as to what works or what you'd throw away once you saw it?

quote from another member in djforums.com;

"Yes you can hide your track names from prying eyes. That's AM mode, introduced in 1.7.3. It stands for anti-trainspotter mode, but some speculate and think that is was a request from DJ AM, since he was the "first" to be seen using it, hence why many people on the SSL forums think you have to type DJAM in the BPM tap button. Whether there's any truth to that, I don't know But you can type Sam, Pam, Green Eggs and Ham, I don't really give a damn. You just have to type "AM" somewhere.

You can play Pong also, that's actually very old and has been in there since 1.0 version.

There used to be the auto looping easter egg in 1.7.X versions, but auto looping is a standard feature now in 1.8. Although there's still the "trancifier" loop slicer (Alt+T/G).

Some speculate there's new eggs in 1.8."

AM,
I am currently enrolled in an arts and entertainment management program at a post secondary institute in Vancouver. Around this time next year i have to complete 2 internships. I'm thinking of doing one with a local house label. Just testing the water here, but do you ever consider interns @ undocumented?

My first bit of advice and the most important thing I can tell you is get the music right first. Before any hiring of a manager or booking agent you gotta have your product at the point where its ready to go. I think too many people feel that by hiring a manager or trying to get a booking agent it will automatically make things pop off for them. The best thing you can do is get music into peoples hands, and with myspace and the other options on the web its not that hard. I listen to new stuff all the time and some of it is actually really good. But if the right people start hearing your music and talking eventually people will take notice. And at the same time it never hurts to be the squeaky wheel. If your shit is dope then let it be known and get it out the best way you can. As far as finding the right person for you as a manager the truth is usually they find you. But thats not to say that you cant approach people you think are right for you. You never know till you try. But with each one of my acts I knew right away I wanted to work with them. Good luck dude.

I know it's years later, but I wanted to thank you for this response, pretty good advice.
